Kathy D. Seamon, 65, of Bellevue passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at her home. She was born July 7, 1951 in Bellevue the daughter of Robert J. and Ileta (Reilly) Pittenger.
After many years of ill health, Kathy was very tired and went home to heaven. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Dan. Kathy was his wife, lover and best friend. She loved her children and grandchildren very much, and would glow with pride whenever she saw them.
Kathy was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and wasn’t afraid to tell you about it. She also enjoyed the time spent in the Florida Keys and the many friends she made there.
Kathy was a retired Registered Nurse. She was a life member of the VFW Post 1238 Auxiliary, the Clyde Eagles Auxiliary, Bellevue American Legion Post 46 Auxiliary, and the Ohio Nurses Association.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel G. Seamon, whom she married April 23, 1971 at Immaculate Conception Church; two sons: Daniel R. (Carrie) Seamon of Clyde and Timothy M. (Kara) Seamon of Bellevue; Grandchildren: Alexandra Rae, Hanna Riley, Breckin Estelle, and Raquelle Leigh; a sister, Karen David of Bellevue; and brothers-in-law, Ted (Carol) Seamon of Bellevue and Bob (Janice) Seamon of Marion.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Bobbi Loparo, Brenda Walters, and Joyce King.
Friends will be received on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where a funeral service will begin on Saturday at 11 a.m.
