Patricia “Patty” Krupke, 62, of Bellevue passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Firelands Regional Medical Center. She was born May 29, 1961 in Norwalk the daughter of Fritz H. Krupke and Walburgis “Val” C.H. Schmidt.
Patty was a one-of-a-kind; She was a strong, independent woman who always spoke her mind and let anybody know where you stood with her. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being outside tending to her plants, collecting frog figurines and going for walks with her beloved parrots “Chevy” and “Mango”. At home, Patty was an amazing cook and also spent many hours canning. A music lover, Patty enjoyed listening to the classics, especially Janis Joplin. In the summer she could be seen riding her motorcycle around town. Patty graduated Magna Cum Laude with a computer degree from Terra.
She is survived by her daughter, Natallia Stokes-Kimmet of Bellevue; grandchildren: Annaliesa Blake, Braxton David, and Caelynn Cain; her sister, Cornelia “Rose” Schmidt of Palmer, AK; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Stephen Stokes; and sister, MarieAnne Schmidt.
Friends will be received Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 2pm until a funeral service officiated by Pastor Scott Jones begins at 5 pm at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A celebration of Patty’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
