Dennis Siesel

Dennis Siesel, 80, of Bellevue passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at The Ohio State University Medical Center.  He was born June 19, 1937 in Bellevue the son of Urban J. and Theresa A. (Fritz) Siesel. 

Dennis was a Veteran serving in the United States Army Reserves and a member of the Attica Knights of Columbus and a former member of Bellevue Eagles Aerie 490. He was employed for most of his time working at Bellevue Manufacturing. He also enjoyed his time as a school bus driver for the Seneca East School District and farming.  He loved camping, watching his grandchildren compete in sports and attending the Huron County Fair to watch his grandchildren show animals.  He was an avid bowler in his younger years and served as a Boy Scout Leader. 

Dennis married Shirley Leber, February 7, 1959 at the Sorrowful Mother Shrine; She preceded him in death in June 2003. 

He is survived by his 4 sons: Kevin (Pam) Siesel of Attica, Keith Siesel of Monroeville, Kipton (Jennifer) Siesel of Attica, and Kory (Heather) Siesel of Columbus, IN; 6 daughters: Kathy Siesel of Cleveland Heights, KellyAnn (Mark) Ball of Bloomville, Karalee Siesel of Bellevue, Kimberly (Rick) Flowers of Upper Sandusky, Kristen (John Weldon) Siesel of Attica, and Kami (Gary) McClimans of Bellevue, daughter - in - law,  Lori Siesel(Kenneth R.) of Bellevue, 23 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Paul (Alice) Siesel of Belleve and Joseph (Jane) Siesel of Fremont. 

In addition to his parents and wife, Dennis is preceded in death by his son, Kenneth R. Siesel; and siblings: Mary Anne Bischoff, Roger Siesel, and Kenneth Siesel. 

Friends will be received on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where the Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m.  A funeral Mass will begin on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Gaspar del Bufalo, Marywood.  Burial will follow at St. Sebastian’s Cemetery. 

Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association of Northeast Ohio, 4500 Rockside Road, Suite 380, Independence, Ohio.
