Brian E. Foos
Funeral Director
Brian was born and raised in Bellevue, and graduated from Bellevue Senior High School in 1981. Upon graduation from high school, Brian graduated from Xavier University and received a Bachelor's degree in Mortuary Science along with an Associates Degree in Applied Science from The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1984. In 1984, Brian moved back to Bellevue and joined his father and grandfather in the family business. Brian is a past director of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, The Sandusky County Communities Foundation, Memorial Hospice and the Historic Lyme Village. He is currently the Chairman of the Immaculate Conception School Endowment Fund, a member of the Lions Club, Elks, Eagles, Moose, Club Amer-Ital, CYO, Bellevue Academic Boosters, Bellevue Athletic Boosters, Knights of Columbus, Bellevue Hospital Community Relations Board, Four County Conservation Club, and OFDA. Brian and his family are members of Immaculate Conception Church. He is married to Lisa (Flicker) Foos and has five sons -- JJ, David, Miles, Ian, and Alec.

Gerald E. "Jerry" Foos

Jerry was born and raised in Bellevue, and graduated from Bellevue Senior High School in 1958.  He received an Associate's Degree in Education from Heidelberg College in 1960 and graduated from The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1962.  Jerry returned to Bellevue in 1962 to join his father, Ralph, in the family business.  Jerry is a charter member of the Rotary Club in Bellevue where he served as president and received the Paul Harris Fellow Award.  He is a member of the Elks, Eagles, Moose, Knights of Columbus, Club Amer-ital, and Immaculate Conception Church.  He received the Distinguished Graduate Award from Immaculate Conception School.  He is married to Gail (Zeigler) Foos, and has four children: Lisa (Russell) Critelli, Ralph, Brian, and Leslie (deceased) and 10 grandchildren.  Jerry enjoys fishing, golf, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Gerald J. "J.J." Foos

J.J. was raised in Bellevue, and graduated from Bellevue Senior High School in 2002.  J.J. attended Florida Gulf Coast University in Estero, Florida, and graduated from The Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 2006 with an Associate's Degree in Applied Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Mortuary Science.  J.J. is a Bellevue Redmen Varsity wide receivers coach at Bellevue High School, a member of the Bellevue Rotary Club, Eagles, Elks and a member of Immaculate Conception Church.  JJ enjoys playing basketball, golf and the guitar.

Carl was born and raised in Bellevue, Ohio.  He graduated from Gilmour
Academy in Gates Mills, Ohio in 1958.  He attended Heidelberg College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1963.  he then served with the United States Air Force for four years and graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in 1969  He has been employed at Foos & Son Funeral Home since 1990 and is a member of the Elks; VFW; American Legion; Knights of Columbus; Club Amer-ital; and the Firelands Funeral Directors Association.  Carl is married to Mary Anne (O'brien) Klein and has two children: John Scott (Donna Clifford) Klein and Daniel O. Klein.  Carl enjoys golf and reading in his spare time.

Robert "Bob" Ruffing

Bob is a native of Bellevue and graduated from Bellevue Senior High School in 1948.  He served four years in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and began his association with the funeral home in 1995. His involvement in the community includes being a member of the Eagles, Knights of Columbus, the American legion, and the Elks, serving twice as exalted ruler, and is secretary of the P.E.R. Association.  He is a past director of the local Fish and Loaves Food Pantry.  Bob is a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Church, where he serves as a Eucharistic minister, a hospital minister, and has been an usher for over 50yrs.  He and his wife Irene are the parents of four children, Valerie McConkey, Bruce Ruffing, Beth Ruffing and Patti Schnee.  His hobbies include fishing, gardening and wood working.

Lisa A. Foos

Lisa was born and raised in Bellevue she graduated from Bellevue Senior High School in 1981.  She married Brian in 1982 and has five sons JJ, David, Miles, Ian and Alec.  Lisa is a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Altar Rosary Society, Bellevue Rec Club, Activities Plus Organization, Bellevue Hospital Auxiliary, Club Amer-Ital, Catholic Youth Organization, Bellevue Academic Boosters and Bellevue Athletic Boosters.  Lisa volunteers within the community at numerous charity events.    When not attending her sons' athletic events, she enjoys cheering on the Redmen, running and fitness classes and scrap booking.
