Roger Jenkins

Roger Jenkins, 86, of Bellevue passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.  He was born November 29, 1937 in Mansfield, Ohio the son of Ronald and Helen (Snyder) Jenkins.  

Roger worked for Ford Motor Company as a millwright until retiring in 1999.  He was a member of Eagles Aerie 490 , and Vacationland SAMS Camping Club.  Roger loved the outdoors and working with his hands.  He loved crafting wood and steel.  Most of all, Roger loved his wife, Nancy (Dwight) and was a devoted husband and father.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Bellevue; children: Dennis (Laurie) Jenkins, Tracy Jenkins, and David (Rachel) Jenkins; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; two sisters, Kathie Jenkins and Karen (Mark) Workman.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Donald Jenkins, James Jenkins, and Ronald Jenkins Jr.; and sister, Doris Jenkins.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 11am until a funeral service begins at 1 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.  Burial will follow at Ellsworth Cemetery.
