Norman W. Rose, 92 of Sun City, Arizona died on Friday, June 9, 2017 at his home in Sun City, Arizona.

Norman was born in Toledo Ohio on March 2, 1925 to James and Anna (Ropke) Rose.  He lived in Toledo until he was 4 years old after which he lived in Clyde. 

In November 1948 he married Evelyn Pucke.  After retiring from driving truck, he moved to Arizona.

He attended Clyde schools and served in the US Army during World War II.

He worked as a mechanic and a truck driver, retiring from driving truck in 1982.

He is survived by his son Norman Rose; one granddaughter, Connie (Rose) Swackhamer; and two great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn (Pucke) Rose, his oldest son, Gerald, and 3 brothers.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 11 am until 1 pm.  The funeral service will begin at 1 pm at Foos Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson, Clyde.  Burial will follow at Bakertown Cemetery, Clyde.
