Paul Trinkl, 83, passed away at The Willows Care Center in Bellevue, Ohio on March 26, 2017. He was born in Portland Point, New York, son of the late Ignatz and Josephine Kukitz Trinkl. Growing up in Lansing, Paul attended Lansing Central School where he met his wife of 65 years, Irene Lockerby Trinkl. Following graduation from Ithaca College, Paul was employed with the Morse Chain Co. In 1967, Paul was transferred by Morse Chain to Denver, Colorado, moving his family out west. Paul continued his career in Denver as an accounting and financial executive working in several industries that included design and fabrication of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and the manufacturing of trucks used in airfield operations, military applications, and the aerospace industry. Following an early retirement at the age of 60, Paul continued to enjoy his love of hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Paul is survived by his wife, Irene; daughter Kathy Underwood (Richard) of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; daughter Laurie Sharp of Clyde, Ohio; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Paul is predeceased by his beloved daughter, Marta Nora Trinkl; and brothers, Ignatz Jr., Frank, Joseph, and Martin Trinkl.
Interment will be at the Lansingville Cemetery.
